About Parkland Orchestra

 

Parkland Orchestra is established in 2013, aiming to promote music education to a more advance level. Through the Orchestra, members can interact with each other, motivate each other and grow together on the music journey. If students only attend instrument classes yet without any perofrmance exposure, it is very hard for them to capture the essence of music. Worse still, their passion in music may even deteriorate over time.

The Orchestra is led by profession and renowned conductor. He advises students on performance techniques, team structure, and external opportunities. He will also lead members to different performances including overseas shows, allowing students to fully utilitse their talents, as well as enjoy music truly.

“Music, especially music in winds or string, is not at all unapproachable. It is, instead, an easy lifestyle. Promoting orchestral music to the public is one of the core missions of the Orchestra.”

Fee: $600 / 4 classes

Application:

– Students in Parkland have to be nominated by Parkland teachers

– Otherwise, audition is conducted for non-students in Parkland
