Man Ma

MA, Sin man started playing clarinet since aged 12, and joined the marching band of HHCKLA Buddhist Leung Chik Wai College as clarinet player and leader. She has participated the music interflow in Taiwan and Singapore with the marching band. After graduation from high school, she has been studying clarinet under Mr. John TASMAN, and achieved the ABRSM Grade 8 Clarinet and Trinity ATCL of Clarinet Recital with Distinction in 2011 and 2014 respectively. She is now devoted to a music tutor, responsible for instrumental and band training. Sin man is an active player in local bands, and followed the Hong Kong Young Musicians’ Wind Orchestra in 2015 joining the 6th Sárvár Hungary International Wind Orchestra Competition which supported by the Hungarian and East Central European Association of Bands and Ensembles. With the effort of every member, the Orchestra eventually received the First Prize in category D and the Globe Prize. And got the Gold Medal in the World Music Contest in July 2017. Sin man is currently the principal clarinet of Shinywinds and clarinet player in Hong Kong Young Musicians’ Wind Orchestra. She is also the orchestra manager and clarinet player of the Pegasus Vanguard.
